The Public Service Recruitment Secretariat (PSRS) on behalf of the Office of the Treasury Registrar (OTR) invites applications from qualified and experienced Tanzanian public servants to apply for the position of Senior Risk Management Officer. One (1) vacancy is available for a professional with expertise in risk assessment, risk management systems, financial analysis, and organizational risk control.
The Senior Risk Management Officer will support the Office of the Treasury Registrar in identifying, analysing, and managing risks that may affect institutional performance and business operations. The officer will also contribute to strengthening risk awareness and improving risk management policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
- Managing the process of identifying and assessing risks affecting the corporation’s operations and business activities.
- Monitoring the implementation of risk management plans and programmes.
- Building a risk awareness culture within the organization through training and awareness activities.
- Preparing periodic risk management reports for management review.
- Participating in the development and improvement of risk management policies and procedures.
- Identifying risk limits for specific activities and submitting recommendations to supervisors.
- Supporting preparation of departmental and unit budgets.
- Performing any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be currently employed in the Public Service.
- Must hold a Bachelor Degree in any of the following fields:
- Risk Management
- Insurance
- Actuarial Science
- Economics
- Official Statistics
- Or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.
- Must have at least seven (7) years of working experience in a relevant field.
